We recognise that starting a new exercise routine can be a daunting prospect but you can be sure that our friendly staff will make it easier for you. Our team of highly qualified fitness advisors will provide you with a personalised workout programme at your induction and are always on hand to offer advice and support.
On your first visit to the gym you will receive a full induction where you will be shown how to make best use of the equipment. You will also be given a workout programme to follow.
You can also choose to have a full Fitness Assessment which will provide an indication of your current fitness level. You can then be re-assessed after a period of time to monitor your progress.
At your induction you will be given a free Personal Progress Pack for you to monitor improvements. Inside you will find a number of tests for you to carry out in the comfort of your own home which are designed to check your cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility.
There are also charts to measure weight, body mass index, and body measurements and a resistance training chart showing the different muscle groups.
Every week we hold special sessions for members where they can learn more about the equipment. Learn how to get the best use of the cardio-vascular and resistance machines under the close supervision of a fitness advisor. So if there is anything you are not sure about after your induction, the Gym Clinics provide an ideal opportunity to find out more.
Throughout the day our instructor team run 10 minute special stomach exercises in the gym .The staff invite members to join them on the gym floor for the sessions which are suitable for everyone. Just grab a mat, find a space on the floor and join in!
As well as the standard weight loss, toning & muscle-building programmes, we also offer exercise programmes for Ante & Post Natal, Seniors, Rehab, Skifit & Sport Specific.
We realise that there may be times where members want to ask a question but our instructor team are tied up with something else. We have therefore set up a help desk service so members can phone or email us with their enquiry. This allows them to contact us from the comfort of your home or office.
